Start with the problem you solve, the economics of a successful customer and the conditions needed to deliver value. Existing customers can reveal patterns, but the ICP should also explain why a new account would care. Sector and headcount help organise the search; they do not replace a commercial reason to buy.
Record the criteria an account must meet, the signals that improve priority and the conditions that exclude it. A new hire or funding announcement can give context without proving an active buying project. Keeping those distinctions explicit makes the research easier to review and the message more credible.
Agree the Swiss regions, working languages and relevant buying roles. Identify who experiences the problem, who evaluates an offer and who can sponsor a conversation. For complex sales, one job title is rarely a complete account map.
Use a small research sample to check that the definition produces sensible companies and contacts. Discuss false positives and missing information before expanding the account universe. The approved brief becomes the starting point for the LGS prospecting platform and the campaign that follows.
Let’s find the right companies, start the right conversations and build your Swiss pipeline.
